Scope of Paint Automation Upgrade Project:
EPC undertook the booth modifications and booth structural upgrades required for the installation of Fanuc P500 robots to replace the four fixed bell automation zones. EPC also installed the 4 paint robots per bell zone required for the upgrade (Total 16 robots).

PC designed and installed the extension of the paint circulation systems aasociated with the addition of the new booth for the expansion of the Silao plant.

EPC undertook th emechanical and electrical design plus installation of the Water Leak Test Booth.

EPC designed and installed the bulk storage tanks and associated controls for the 2k Clearcoat Resin. |
Scope of Spray Booth Project:
Refurbished and upgraded Color 3 spray booth, to allow for new automation equipment. EPC designed new spraybooth and plenum sheetmetal, managed the installation, and balanced the booth airflow.

1. Scope of Booth Revisions and Install of Paint Robots Project:
EPC undertook the paint spray booth revisions and installation of 12 x Fanuc P500 robots associated with the GMT 480 Phase 2 project at Flint.

2. Scope of Booth, Oven and Conveyor Revisions for the GM 3060 Project:
EPC undertook the revisions and upgrades necessary to the booths and ovens along with the upgrade of the complete conveyor system in the Paint Shop at Flint.

3. Scope of Water Leak Test and Global Audit Facilities for the GM 5050 Project:
EPC undertook the complete design and installation for the Water Leak Test and Global Audit Facilities including all mechanical, electrical and strutural/concrete design required.

Scope of Sealer/LASD Project:
Installed two inline robotic cells, the first for the application of interior and exterior body sealer and the second for the application of LASD in the interior of the vehicle. The total number of robots for the two cells was 10 which included 6 robots for sealer application and 4 robots for LASD application. There were two lines for a total of 4 cells and 20 robots. System design and installation included the conveyors, material supply systems (magnadrum pumps and piping) in addition to the robots.
